What a relief that the progressive Dems held off a vote for the Infrastructure Bill last week which would have seriously jeopardized the passing of the Reconcilliation Bill. What can we here in the grassroots of Michigan do? We can't really pressure Manchin or Sinema since we aren't they're constituents. Right? I haven't heard of any calls for people to rally in DC.My only contacts in DC are my 2 state senators. I will give them a call this morning and urge them to put the pressure on their corporate Senate colleagues. I'm alsoopen to any other ideas from friends here .

I think calling your Congresspeople and telling them you don't support the infrastructure bill w/o a reconciliation bill is critical!

Thanks, Abdul. That's exactly what I'll do and I'll encourage my friends to do the same. Really appreciate this newsletter -- both your writing and the commentary from your readers!

To be simplistic, but true, two wrongs don't make a right. to say that we cannot do such-and-such because we do not have the money is just that. we don't have the services and we don't adequately tax the rich. When will you learn people, a good offense makes a great defense. Loosen up on your wallets, the defense will be great because you have. Don't think small or you will loose it all, think big!
