I left Twitter years ago, as I did FB, because these platforms allow people to say almost anything they want so they both began to feel increasingly like cesspools of hate and bigotry. That people actually think there's anything worthwhile to be found there is appalling since there's no way to verify the content.

I almost left Twitter the day of the announcement…but without a satisfactory alternative replacement identified for real-time info, I haven’t left yet.

I don't understand #9 -- how you lost followers and MTG followers increased? Maybe I'm missing something. I don't tweet -- social media overwhelming (and underwhelming in what feels like real life). Also don't get #10 -- an edit button for original author? Other people should/shouldn't be able to edit tweets?

I have a Twitter account but have never used it. I also have Facebook but have stopped using it. Twitter has banned Public Citizen. Need I say more?

Indeed this was all taken into account about his personality and drive to "save the world" but save the world for who's stake is better asked.

I would be lost visually about any breaking news about matters that are important without twitter. In fact, Twitter is where I met many of my friends that accept me for who I am and drive our passions and determinations further. Public radio really does a better job of reporting the news firsthand though.

Edit button is a must. If people can screen shot deleted tweets then surely they can screen shot original tweets.

Stay frosty but still making sure to be human for these social media posts to do what we love seriously. Glad to see Unions starting to get off the ground to hold those in power accountable for their potentially harmful actions.
