A bedrock principle and practice between doctor and patient is informed consent. That means that the physician has the obligation of informing the patient what he or she recommends for evaluation and/or treatment. The patient has the absolute right to choose to follow the advice or to say no. It is the patient who has the final say. Now we have permitted the government and the legal system to dictate what the patient can do. The government has intruded into the most private and intimate of personal actions. Thinking, caring people must unite in opposition to the ban on abortions. An informed vote is powerful!
I was impressed with our attorney general. She knows the issues and what we can do to change them. I will definitely vote for her again.
