I too love Ted Lasso. The problem with the toxic masculinity culture though, is that it is still celebrated. When it embarrasses companies and makes them lose money, it is reined in — temporarily. But it is still very much accepted. Men won’t call each other out, and we know silence is complicity. So, just like racism is a problem that must be eradicated by white people, toxic masculinity with its homophobic, transphobic, misogynistic and racist roots, must be eradicated by men — all men.
