I’m surprised that no one has commented on your clear and concise explanation of the cycle of inflation. I experienced the inflation spike in the early 80s. My mortgage interest rate was 12.5% and I was called to the bank where they announced it was going up to over 21%. My wife and I said no thanks as we had just had a long term extension. And here we are, A&W (alive and well). This will pass and let’s hope average wages and benefits go up, especially for those who need it. Our country is only as strong as its middle class. As we refrained in the 60s, “All power to the people!”
